Never miss another Vine from your favorite connects

Twitter-owned Vine has added a new way to keep you stuck to your iPhone’s screen even longer. A favorite option in the form of a star at the top of each user’s profile lets you choose to receive all-new Vines from that particular account from then on.

A feature that should have been part of the service right from the get-go – honestly, what social network doesn’t have a favs feature? – the new addition is detailed in the release notes for Vine 3.1 on the iTunes App Store.

According to the changelog, “Now you can pick your favorite Viners and get a notification whenever they post a Vine.” You do that by just tapping the star on their profile at the top right area of the screen. From that moment on, you’ll receive any Vine that they post, day and night.

The developers say they’ve also carried out some maintenance, so “You may also notice some performance enhancements that make Vine, well... perform better.” Feedback is encouraged, as always. Unlike other high-profile developers that I prefer not to mention, these guys actually listen and deliver.

You must be at least 17 years old to download Vine and use it on your iDevice, and you’ll need to create an account or log in with Twitter.
