Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions, the next game in the classic arcade series, is set to debut this month across a variety of platforms, and ahead of its launch, a special set of pre-order bonuses are confirmed by publisher Sierra Games.

Geometry Wars delighted millions of arcade game fans throughout the years, delivering memorable twin-stick shooter experiences with vibrant colors, hectic gameplay, and an emphasis on constant perfection.

Unfortunately, in recent years, the series entered the shadows, seeing as how its original developer, Bizarre Creations, closed its doors, leaving the rights to the franchise to go publisher Activision.

After some time, the large company is doing something with the rights, as Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions is set to restart its old Sierra Games publishing label. The actual game is being developed by Lucid Games, a team composed of veterans from Bizarre, and is set to launch later this week.

Special pre-order bonuses are available

In order to further hype up its release, Sierra confirms that special platform-specific pre-order bonuses are available for those who get the game ahead of its launch.

First up, on the PC, those who pre-purchase it via the Steam digital distribution service get a special level called Secret Eye that's in the shape of a triangle with an evolving cubed wall, not to mention another level called Blood Count, that features a unique Torus shaped grid.

Owners of either the PS3 or the PS4 platforms in North America can also take advantage of the Secret Eye level, but also a special exclusive stage called Symbolic, which sees enemies spawn in clusters shaped just like the PlayStation controller button icons, i.e. square, circle, X, or triangle. It's unclear why this offer isn't available in other territories like Asia or Europe, unfortunately.

Xbox One and Xbox 360 users also get bonuses

Last but not least, Xbox One and Xbox 360 users can also benefit from exclusive levels, in the form of the aforementioned Blood Count one, but also from a stage called Titan Box, which sits on a grid shaped like a cube, with an Xbox green background. Bear in mind that only Xbox One owners can pre-order the game via the Xbox Live service. Xbox 360 users can get the level after launch, until December 2, for free.

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions is set to launch on Steam, PS3, and PS4 tomorrow, on November 25, while Xbox One and Xbox 360 users can start playing it on November 26. Until then, check out some impressive screenshots with the arcade game in action below.
