14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Telltale Games is announcing that it has now submitted a new patch for the second episode of the Game of Thrones series on the Xbox One to the team handling certification at Microsoft and that the problem should be solved in the coming week, if everything goes right.
The announcement comes from the official forum of the title, but it's unclear whether any other changes are being made to the game or if the solution works retroactively or gamers will need to once again play through The Lost Lords.
The official announcement states, "We have submitted a patch to Microsoft to resolve the issue some customers have experienced where Episode One choices did not carry over into Episode Two. We expect the patch to be released in the next 7-10 days and will update this thread as soon as it is available. We really appreciate everyone’s patience and hope to have you playing with your choices very soon."
The save game bug for Game of Thrones meant that a group of players were forced to play through the story of The Lost Lords using the default choices for the first episode, which automatically lessened the emotional impact of the narrative.
The R.R. Martin-inspired and approved episodic game has been a solid success for Telltale Games and the company is eager to make sure that it fixes all problems as soon as the community notices them.
