FIFA 15 is in the last place on the podium

Grand Theft Auto V might have been delayed on the PC, which led to a backlash coming from players who were expecting to play the experience as soon as late January instead of March 24, when Rockstar and Take Two plan to launch it, but the open world title has managed to stay at the top of the United Kingdom video game sales chart for another week.

At the moment, players can place a pre-order for the title in order to get 1 million of in-game currency to spend both in the single-player and the Online mode, and all those who do so before February 1 will also get access to more money and a free Rockstar title.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, created by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision, is ready to execute a comeback as the launch date for the Havoc downloadable content is getting near and is at the moment in second place, a one position improvement over the previous week.

For the week that ended on January 24, UKIE says that FIFA 15, the football sim from EA Sports, is in third place in the United Kingdom, with the developers also delivering all the winter transfers to gamers via small updates.

The best of the rest

The first new entry of the year is Saints Row: Re-Elected and Gat Out of Hell, created by Volition and published by Deep Silver, which has managed to debut in fourth place.

This means that the classic occupant of the position, Far Cry 4 from Ubisoft, is now in fifth and is followed by the Xbox Edition of indie hit Minecraft.

Rugby 15 from Big Ben, an unlikely contender, has managed to launch in eighth place in the United Kingdom video game chart, taking advantage of the relative lack of other big launches in the month of January.

The PlayStation edition of Minecraft is in ninth place this week and the UK top ten is closed down by The Crew, the open world racing experience from Ubisoft, which managed to perform better than Assassin’s Creed: Unity and Destiny.
