The development team at Rockstar is getting ready to launch the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V, and in addition to the already announced improvements, the studio aims to also introduce a powerful editor that will make it easy to create a wide range of videos linked to the open world title.

The official announcement includes a video designed to allow all those interested to take a look at the core features of the new tool, which will allow gamers to put together some cool footage, edit it to their liking, and then share it with the community.

Gamers who use the new Rockstar Editor in GTA V on the PC will have access to some special camera modes, designed to show off the most impressive moments and the coolest firefights.

The development team is also offering filters, depth of field customization, and new audio cues.

Rockstar says it will also add a Director Mode which "allows you to stage creative moviemaking sequences from a cast of characters ranging from familiar faces from Story Mode, to pedestrians and even animals. You’ll be able to upload your finished masterpiece to YouTube and to the Rockstar Games Social Club to share with friends."

The Rockstar Editor for GTA V will be live as soon as the PC version arrives on April 14, and there's a full tutorial for those who want to use it and are determined to get the most out of it as soon as it is available.

The development team has not said whether it plans to update the feature in the future or if it is also set to arrive on another version of the game.

GTA V introduces a range of other improvements on the PC

The Rockstar title is also offered on home consoles, but those who have waited for it until now can get improved textures, which will make the entire world more lifelike.

There are also more cars on the roads and more pedestrians on sidewalks to deal with, in addition to improved physics for the entire experience.

More audio content is also introduced to GTA V on the PC, giving gamers more content to experience.

Rockstar has already said that it plans to add more content to the Online mode of the game before the end of 2015.
