Gunman Clive, the eagerly anticipated sequel to the hit action platformer, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop on January 29.

Gunman Clive developer Bertil Horberg has revealed the news via Twitter, initially stating that fans of the title would have to wait a little bit longer due to some rather troublesome bugs he discovered in the game, and finally delivering the goods.

Horberg says that Gunman Clive 2 received official approval for distribution from the Big N (dubbed Lot Check) in both Europe and the United States, and that it's coming out in both regions next week.

The game's price has been set at $3 / €3. The first game became an instant cult hit, offering a strange experience blending a minimalist, washed-out visual style, looking more like a sketch using classic Western colors, with classic hardcore platforming action and a ton of neat features.

Among the many things you'll be able to do in the sequel are shooting dinosaurs, shooting ducks, shooting giant samurai, and a whole lot of other shooting-related stuff.

The indie side-scroller has an interesting Western theme, following a lone gunslinger trotting through a futuristic Wild West, employing all sorts of weapons against a wide assortment of enemies.
