The development team at FreeStyleGames and publisher Activision are continuing to reveal new songs that will be part of Guitar Hero Live, with 10 more tracks now added to the list and more promised before the game is actually launched.

The two companies are saying that they want to deliver a variety of engaging music for their reboot of the classic series.

The songs showed off on the official site include:

Halestorm -  Love Bites (So Do I)

Tenacious D  - Tribute

Beartooth -  I Have A Problem

Pearl Jam -  Mind Your Manners

Rise Against the Machine - Tragedy + Time

Soundgarden -  Been Away Too Long

Anthrax - Got the Time

Architects - Gravedigger

Chevelle -  The Clincher

A Day to Remember - Right Back At It Again

It's a nice mix of classic and fan favorite tracks, and so far there are 34 songs that the developers have revealed.

Guitar Hero Live needs to have a very solid list of music revealed before launch because Activision has no plans to allow fans of the series to use the music that they have bought for previous installments.

The new music sim will deliver an entirely new instrument

FreeStyleGames says that the new guitar peripheral is re-designed in order to make it easier for players to hit the right notes and to feel like they are actually standing in front of a crowd and trying to create a great song.

Guitar Hero Live features a bigger emphasis on the emotion that music can create with the gamer always focused on both his band mates and the public as he waits for their reactions to his efforts.

FreeStyleGames and Activision are also talking about a new mode called GHTV, which will constantly deliver a stream of videos, covering a range of genres, with more tracks than those included in the main campaign.

Gamers will be able to jump into it at any time to try and improve on the performance of actual band members, with matchmaking taking place automatically behind the scenes.

Guitar Hero Live will be launched on the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Nintendo Wii U and older consoles but at the moment Activision has not yet announced a clear launch date.
