Video game developer Playground Games, publisher Microsoft and Universal Studios are offering fans of the racing game franchise a new video for the upcoming Fast & Furious free campaign for Forza Horizon 2, which is designed to offer gamers a closer look at the content that they will be able to get in late March.

The footage is not too long, but it allows those interested in both the Xbox One title and the movie series to get a look at the various cars taken from the upcoming movie that they will be able to actually drive in the game.

Commentary and details are offered by Dennis McCarthy, who has long been the car coordinator working on the Fast & Furious movie series, and he explains exactly how each of the vehicles was chosen and then designed in order to create excitement.

The team explains that, "In Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, the car is the star, and the Furious 7 vehicles featured in the game will look and drive just like the cars from the film."

The free content will be introduced on the Xbox One and the 360 on March 27, and it will be offered for free to celebrate the launch of the movie.

After that, gamers will still be able to get access to it as long as they pay standard DLC price.

Forza Horizon 2 is getting a new Mazda Miata pack for free next week

Gamers who are interested in the title will get a car pack based on the Mazda Miata line during the coming week, designed to allow them to use a number of classic vehicles and a never-before-seen 2016 version which is making its video game debut.

Forza Horizon 2 is not a full simulation experience, but the development team at Playground and Microsoft have managed to create a series of activities and a campaign that still keep fans engaged.

Turn 10 is at the moment working on an entirely new title, designed to be offered this fall and meant to upgrade the driving system and the graphics quality of the franchise while bringing in new cars and racing environments.
