14 DAY TRIAL // Every day for the past week or so, women have been coming forward to confess to the fact that Bill Cosby had molested or even raped them years ago. What these women have in common is the fact that they were prominent decades ago and that they were all in the entertainment industry – actresses, models, singers.
Today, another former model steps forward to point a blaming finger at Bill Cosby, the beloved comedian and actor, nicknamed “America's dad.” Jewel Allison told the NY Daily News that Cosby drugged and molested her in the '80s.
The model says Cosby relied heavily on his good father reputation to land his victims
She claims that she thought him to be the kind man in the knit sweaters that he portrayed on TV, until she accepted a dinner invitation from him in the late 1980s, when he was on top of his game. She reckons that it was this very image of lovable father that he was portraying on his sitcom that made women readily accept his invitations and fall prey to his assaults.
“He got away with it because he was hiding behind the image of Cliff Huxtable,” Allison says as she admits that she went to visit him in his East Side brownstone flat a quarter of a century ago. According to the paper, the model says that she was drugged and then raped. Then Cosby put her in the back of a cab, sick and vomiting, and sent her home.
Allison was introduced to Cosby through her agent, Sue Charney, who is curiously accredited with discovering another model, Janice Dickinson, who, you may know, also went on the record to say that Cosby raped her in 1982.
It was the agent who told Allison that she should not waste the opportunity and go to Bill Cosby's dinner party. She now says that she barely noticed that no one else showed up at the party since it was her birthday and she contemplated the dinner as a surprise gift for her.

Like in other cases, Cosby is being accused of promising the young model help with her career, which is another reason she accepted to see him at his home. When she was alone with him, he brought out an expensive bottle of wine which impressed the young girl, and he offered her a glass.
Not long after her first sip which she says tasted “awful,” she began feeling ill and woozy. Cosby led her into another room and made her look in a mirror to see how pretty she was. As she was staring with difficulty at her own reflection, Allison says that Cosby took her hand and put it on his genitals.
Soon after, Cosby sent her home in a cab, with an embrace and a hard kiss. Later, when he extended another dinner invitation, she declined. Today, she says that Cosby is one of the sickest people she's ever seen and probably one of the few rapists in history to have gone so long without being caught.
Bill Cosby has now been accused of rape by no fewer than 14 women.
