Flesky, one of the newest and most popular keyboard applications for mobile devices, has just received Google Play Editor’s Choice award. With more than 1 million downloads since its release in Google Play Store, Flesky Keyboard is now available for free.

In celebration of the award received recently, developers have decided to make the Flesky Keyboard application free until May 7.

The folks at Flesky also released a major update for their Android application, which brings important new features and improvements.

First of all, Fleksy and Riffsy announced an exclusive partnership extending the popular GIF Keyboard by Riffsy to Fleksy on Android.

The new GIF Keyboard had already been added to the iOS version of Flesky, and now Android users get the same treatment thanks to the new update.

Flesky developers state that the new GIF Keyboard will now come pre-configured, which makes the Fleksy app the only major keyboard to combine typing, GIFs and emoji all in one convenient place.

Developers also extended support all the way to Ice Cream Sandwich and added dynamic categories such as Reactions, Explore, and Trending.

New Emoji view and better English dictionary

Other improvements that have been added to Flesky Keyboard include new Emoji view with vertical scrolling, enhanced English (US) dictionary, as well as reduced APK size by 8MB.

Fleksy brings its technology to an entirely new demographic by launching some of the most requested languages: Korean, Hindi, and Indonesian.

Some bugs have been addressed as well, such as the Number Row extension that wouldn’t flip to Symbols, and the inability to tag in the Facebook application. The issue with Fleksy “eating” letters in Web fields issue has been fixed too.

You can now download Flesky Keyboard for Android for free until May 7 via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
