Sony has just confirmed the lineup of titles that will join the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection in May, revealing that not one, but five different PS4 experiences are going to arrive for free to Plus subscribers, including Guacamelee, The Unfinished Swan, and many more.

The PlayStation Plus subscription offers an array of different advantages to members, ranging from exclusive discounts to access into beta periods, to multiplayer access on the PS4. However, the main advantage is the Instant Game Collection, which brings different free titles every month for Plus members to enjoy across PS4, PS3, or PS Vita.

The May lineup is quite generous for most platforms

Now, Sony confirms on the PS blog the May lineup of games for North America and Europe that will appear in the Instant Collection for Plus members, and thanks to the special cross-buy system, owners of the PS4, PS3, or PS Vita can enjoy a huge number of titles.

Usually, each platform gets two games every month, but this time around, PS4 owners get a whopping five games, while PS3 and PS Vita users are set to receive three games each. The titles are also quite solid, including many different independent projects.

There's Ether One, which is going to make its debut on the PS4 straight through the PS Plus service, allowing members to solve different puzzles and progress through an interesting story.

Another PS4 exclusive title in the May update for PS Plus is Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition, which brings the classic side-scrolling brawler, as well as all of its DLC packs and plenty of new content that launched on PS3 or PS Vita some time ago.

PS4, PS3, and PS Vita owners can enjoy Hohokum, The Unfinished Swan, and Race the Sun, as the three games are available across all platforms for free.

All these new games will appear in the PS Plus section on the PS Store next week, on May 5, so look forward to their free debut at that time. Check out a video with gameplay from each of them below.
