Though her name is often dragged out in the tabloids for whatever reason, it seems that former “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart is determined to focus on her work only. If you’re a fan of her movies, we have the first-ever photo from her upcoming film.

It’s called “Equals” and it’s inspired by George Orwell’s famous dystopian novel “1984.” You may have heard of the film because the moment Kristen was cast, the tabloids started writing about how she was out to “get” Jennifer Lawrence’s boyfriend, her co-star Nicholas Hoult.

Safe to say, Kristen and Jennifer are not feuding over Nicholas, as Jennifer herself made sure to set the record straight in an interview in which she joked about all the silly rumors. She is actually friends with Kristen.

This out of the way, let’s focus on the film: Kristen and Nicholas play two people living in a world in which all feeling has been eradicated, but through some flaw in the system, they manage to get theirs back. They fall in love and will have to suffer the consequences of that.

If you read the book, you’ve probably guessed already that it will focus on the love story included in it.

“I'm definitely not afraid of ‘feels.’ My life revolves around it actually,” Kristen said last month, when speaking of the film. “Finding the balance between the head and the heart is important but I've always been very driven by the gut. Every thought or articulated emotion starts in shapes and colors and putting your finger on that is cool, but it's not necessary.”

“Equals” is now shooting in Singapore and will be out in theaters sometime next year. It is directed by Drake Doremus and also stars Guy Pearce and Jacki Weaver.

The first photo released for it isn’t all that much in terms of revealing anything important about the movie, but it’s enough for the time being. Are you excited about the movie yet?
