The first new feature implemented in Fedora 22 Beta Server Edition Linux operating system is the inclusion of a PostgreSQL-based database server role, which aims to be a companion to the Rolekit damon introduced in Fedora 21.
The second new feature implemented in the Server flavor of the Fedora 22 Linux distribution is an updated version of the Cockpit web-based management application, which includes a modular design and various improvements.
The third and the most important new feature implemented in the Fedora 22 Beta Server operating system is the XFS filesystem, which is now used by default on all installations. XFS is capable of handling higher storage capacity, and it scales better for servers.
