The development team at Ubisoft working on Far Cry 4 is ready to announce that it will launch a Season Pass for the upcoming open world shooter, which is designed to introduce a range of new experiences for gamers and will allow them to hunt the mythical creature called the Yeti for the first time in the series.

The official blog coming from the company says that gamers will be able to pick up the Season Pass for 29.99 dollars or Euro and that they can take advantage of the offer on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft.

The highlight of the Season Pass for Far Cry 4 is the Valley of the Yeti mission, which sees main character Ajay exploring a strange new area of the game.

Ubisoft states, "Scavenge for tools and upgrade your campsite, while fending off deadly nighttime attacks from a mysterious cult. Explore caves in the area, but watch out for what lurks within. Valley of the Yetis has both single-player and co-op options, so it might be wise to bring a friend along to watch your back."

Far Cry 4 is not afraid to embrace weird mythical elements and gamers will also be able to visit a dream world and get a tiger as a companion.

As soon as the open world experience is launched, gamers will be able to play another exclusive mission called The Syringe, which is playable both in single player and cooperatively, in which dictator Pagan Min needs to be stopped from acquiring a recipe which he could then use to take out the rebellion.

More planned content for Far Cry 4

Gamers who buy the Season Pass for Far Cry 4 can also gain access to the Escape from Durgesh Prison mission, which includes torture and an escape attempt from the most notorious correctional facility in Kyrat.

Ubisoft adds that it will also deliver Overrun, which allows players to "Play as either the Rakshasa or the Golden Path in this new PvP multiplayer mode. Capture territory around Kyrat and stop that territory from being taken by your enemies."

Season Pass holders also gain access to the Hurk Deluxe Pack, which includes new missions and allows gamers to use more harpoon weapons.

Far Cry 4 keeps the core open world elements of the series and allows players to experience more complex firefights and explore a wider array of environments.
