Gamers will have to decide who's in fourth place

FIFA 15 is set to be launched this week and the development team at EA Sports is delivering the final pieces of information that long-term fans need before they settle on the team they want to control or the setup they are aiming to build for the Ultimate Team mode.

The official blog of the game is now listing the best 10 dribblers in the football simulation, although somewhat confusingly, the list actually includes two players tied to fourth place that gamers can take control of.

To no one’s surprise, Lionel Messi, the global cover athlete for FIFA 15 and leader of Barcelona, is the best when it comes to dribbling, while second and third spots are taken over by Robben and Ribery, who are both playing for Bayern Munich.

The scouting experts that are used by the team at EA Sports to create the ratings for all the included players have been unable to distinguish between Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of dribbling ability and placed both of them in fourth.

The studio states, “Weaving through traffic, confusing the opposition, and creating goal-scoring opportunities is what the world’s best dribblers do. If you want to stop any of these 10 guys, you’ll need more than an army.”

Ready for FIFA 15’s launch

FIFA 15 is set to arrive on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, the PC and last-gen devices on September 23 in North America and on September 25 in Europe.

At the moment, a demo is available, allowing gamers to choose from a line-up of eight teams in order to see the core mechanics in action, and those who subscribe to EA Access on the Microsoft home console are also able to see the entire title for six hours.

Fans who are interested in the Ultimate Team mode of FIFA 15 can also log into the official Web App, but many are still reporting problems with the performance, which EA Sports seems to be unable to fix at the moment.

The developers have promised that the new title will introduce smarter teammates, goalkeepers that know how to block attacking players and a host of improvements to the presentation, all of them designed to increase the immersion level of the gamer.

FIFA 15 will have to deal with competition from Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 from Konami, which will launch in November and is being created using the Fox Engine.
