There are also some solid defenders and holding midfielders

The developers at EA Sports are delivering their Team of the Week package for the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 15, giving fans a chance to get access to a number of players who have performed very well for their clubs, including the already legendary Lionel Messi, who is almost single-handedly powering the Spanish championship challenge for Barcelona.

The striking power of the new package is focused on Messi, but his companions are also very capable on their own, with Muller doing very well for Bayern and Dost being one of the future stars of the game in Europe.

For the new Team of the Week for FIFA 15, the midfield is composed of Khazri, Gago, Guarin and the very capable Gotze.

The back line is made up of three players and includes some relative unknowns, Alvaro and Douglao, and Manchester City future star Smalling.

The goalkeeper highlighted for Ultimate Team this week is Kevin Trapp.

As always, there are also the usual seven substitutes included in the Team of the Week package, but their fate is rarely to star in a team as they end up being sacrificed most of the time so that match winners can be acquired.

FIFA 15 needs plenty of events to remain engaging

The biggest update to the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 15 was delivered earlier in the week when the developers at EA Sports went through all the included players and selected 134 that had received solid upgrades in terms of stats and are now more useful for the teams gamers are creating.

The teams in the simulation title have also been upgraded with all the transfers that have taken place in the real world during the winter period, which means that Careers should also be more attractive for fans.

EA Sports is also continuing to deploy tutorials for its game, in order to try and make sure that the community can deliver satisfying matches, and there are other contests and events which ensure that players remain engaged.

A new FIFA title will not be officially revealed for a while and actual details about it will probably come at the E3 2014 event in June.
