The changes are based on their real world performance

The development team at EA Sports is announcing that it is ready to deliver one of the biggest updates it has ever made to the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 15, which is designed to improve the stats of 134 players that were included based on the way they performed in the real world during the first half of the season.

Those who want to see exactly which stars have been improved will need to take a look at the official list on the title's website or simply look for their favorites in the images attached to this article.

EA Sports says the upgrades it has created will be implemented to new players found in packs who are not in-form, but not to those who are already at the club.

They add, "However, if an upgraded player with an existing IF gets upgraded across Quality tiers (eg. Silver to Gold), his lower-quality IF will not be upgraded. This preserves the in-form’s high value. (Ex: Harry Kane has been upgraded to a Gold, but his two existing silver IFs will not receive upgrades and will stay Silver.)"

The rules are a little complex, but basically gamers who like Ultimate Team will be able to work with a number of improved players, which should lead to a better overall FIFA 15 experience for them.

Full winter transfers are also live in the football sim

In order for the winter upgrades to be introduced, the developers previously also made sure that all the transfers which happened in the real world January window were reflected in FIFA 15, which means that gamers can play with accurate teams.

The company is also continuing to deliver Team of the Week packages for the game every Wednesday, along with other players for dedicated gamers based on big matches and on tournaments like the African Cap of Nations.

In the coming months, EA Sports will probably run more community events and special offers in order to keep the football sim as relevant as possible and to keep interest in the Ultimate Team mode as high as possible.

A new FIFA title will probably be revealed during May and more details about it will be made available during the E3 2015 event.
