The launch of the Team of the Week package for the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 15 is always an exciting moment for fans of the football simulation title, but this week the occasion is even more special because the developers are delivering a new version of Lionel Messi, the cover star of the game, who has just managed to become one of the most celebrated players in the world after breaking more Champions League records.

The player is the biggest star included in this week’s delivery, ready to lead the attack of all gamers who purchase him and place him in their teams, and he gets support from the less known but still effective Ari and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

A solid attacking line is nothing without good support from midfields, and this week gamers can get access to four mostly attacking-minded players, Eriksen and Payet on the wings and Paul Pogba with Bolasie in the middle.

When it comes to the defensive, gamers who love Ultimate Team for FIFA 15 can get access to three solid players: Verhaegh, Hilton, and Carvajal.

The goalkeeper for the week is De Gea, who did wonders for Manchester United in their victory over rivals Arsenal, and gamers can also get access to a full list of reserves.

The Ultimate Team weekly pack is based on the performances that players have put in during the previous seven days for both their club and country.

FIFA 15 has a very good offer for the holiday season

The development team at EA Sports has recently deployed a third big patch for FIFA 15, which is designed to change the way players position themselves on the defensive and to tweak the way lobbed balls work.

There are also updated player faces for the three newly promoted teams in the Premier League and other fixes.

In order to take advantage of the coming holiday season, Electronic Arts is giving players a chance to get a new version of FIFA 15, which comes complete with some coins that players can spend as they see fit and with Lionel Messi, the recent record breaker, available under loan from the start in the Ultimate Team mode.

The game is also offered with price cuts by a variety of retailers, both as a physical and digital purchase.

FIFA 15 will get a new major patch in early February of next year, as the developers plan to deliver to the sim all the real world transfers that will take place in the January window.
