Even professionals can get red cards in the game

FIFA 15 continues to sell well for Electronic Arts and many fans will probably pick the game up for their friends or members of their family in time for Christmas, but the company continues to deliver promotional content for the game, showing how players from the top teams in the world perform when they enter the virtual space.

This time, Tottenham Hotspur is the focus, as the likes of Andros Townsend, Christian Eriksen, Eric Dier and Bentaleb pick up the controller in order to show their skills.

As always, EA Sports is not offering full footage of the matches played, and the team choices, which include Barcelona and Real Madrid rather than some other teams from the actual Premier League, are a bit baffling.

But the highlights offered are pretty cool, involving some interesting goals and at least one red card offense.

Finally, Bentaleb and Townsend managed to win the overall confrontation two matches to zero, with Christian Eriksen and Eric Dier.

Similar videos are also offered for Barcelona and other top teams from Europe, and presumably more of them will be coming in the future.

FIFA 15 is focused on spectacle and impressive goals

FIFA 15 was offered on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, the PC and last-gen consoles in late September, and players have since then received access to three title updates, all of them designed to both fix some issues reported by the community and to tweak core gameplay mechanics.

By getting the game in the hands of professional footballers, even in highly controlled settings, the company proves that its simulation offers a realistic take on the sport.

FIFA 15 has been focused on improving the graphics and the presentation this year, entirely adopting the television style of the Premier League.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2015, the Konami-made rival, has been focusing more on the tactical aspect of the sport and offers a more cerebral experience.

EA Sports is also continuing to deliver Team of the Week packages for the Ultimate Team mode, showcasing cool players that gamers can slot into their own lineups, including a new updated version of the cover star.

At the same time, the company is offering a new Holiday version of the title via the Origin digital distribution service, which features more goal celebrations, more coins for gamers to spend and Lionel Messi as a loan player from the start.
