The development team at EA Sports is confident enough in the game engine that powers the FIFA 15 football sim to announce that it is predicting that the LA Galaxy will be the new holders of the Major League Soccer cup and will defeat the New England Revolution 2 to 1 in the final this weekend.

The studio states, "It was a nail-biter match, with a heroic showing by Gyasi Zardes, who scored the game-winning goal in Extra Time, breaking the 1-1 tie in the 115th minute, clinching a 2-1 win for LA. Last year, EA Sports correctly predicted a Sporting Kansas City win in MLS Cup 2013."

The sim says that Omar Gonzales, the defender playing for the LA Galaxy, scored with a header in the 14th minute, with Jermaine Jones scoring for the New England Revolution at the end of the first half.

Landon Donovan then contributed late in extra time for his team and allowed Gyasi Zardes to find the net, in the process earning the Man of the Match award.

A new Holiday pack for FIFA 15 is at the moment offered to all interested players and EA Sports is also getting ready to host a range of new events and to offer special Ultimate Team packs in the run up to Christmas.
