Capcom confirms that, after the debut of the Resident Evil HD Remaster title earlier this year, it wants to launch even more high definition remakes of older games, as there's a big market for such products on the PS4 and Xbox One in particular.

High definition remakes have appeared for quite some time now and were quite popular when the PS3 and Xbox 360 entered their later years.

Once the PS4 and Xbox One made their debut back in 2013, quite a few companies continued this trend, releasing definitive editions of their recent titles, in order to ensure that they products can be experienced by new owners of the home consoles. Capcom is no exception, as it's just released in recent months Resident Evil HD Remaster and DmC Devil May Cry Definitive Edition.

Seeing as how it's currently getting ready to launch a Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition for PS4 and Xbox One, the Japanese company confirms, via Videogamer, that it wants to release more HD remakes of older games in the future.

No franchise names were given but, seeing as how the studio owners a lot of long running series, from Resident Evil to Street Fighter and so on, there are plenty of things to choose from.
