Justin Bieber is unpunchable, it would seem. A report in Page Six claims that another famous man tried to take a swing at the Canadian pop star and failed, being thrown out of the venue instead: David Arquette.

Unlike Orlando Bloom, David has the excuse of being heavily intoxicated when he tried it, eyewitnesses tell the celebrity publication.

Everybody wants to punch Justin Bieber

This happened sometime last weekend. After he was done taping his Comedy Central Roast, Justin Bieber boarded a plane and flew to Las Vegas, where he celebrated turning 21. It’s true, his birthday was earlier this month, but you know what they say, it’s only once you become of legal age, and it seems that Justin plans to continue with the celebrations all throughout the month.

Eyewitnesses say that the party took place at the Omnia club but continued at the rooftop villa at Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace, aka the “Hangover” suite. David, who has been struggling with addiction and alcoholism for years, got wasted early on in the evening, so by the time the afterparty started, he was totally hammered.

At one point, he started bad-mouthing Justin loudly “behind his back.” Literally, it would seem: the pop star heard him and had a couple of friends escort him out because he didn’t want to cause a ruckus by having security come get him.

David wouldn’t stop there, though. “Somehow David managed to get back in and rushed at Bieber to take him out. There was a confrontation, then other people got in the way to separate them. David was thrown out again, this time for good,” an insider says.

Justin Bieber was unharmed.

The Orlando Bloom fight that almost happened

Last July, video emerged online taken outside a fancy Ibiza party, with Orlando Bloom taking a swing at Justin Bieber and missing. More details came later: how Bieber had taunted Bloom about sleeping with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr and how “good” she was in bed, how Bloom fought back by telling him he’d slept with his ex too, Selena Gomez, how Leonardo DiCaprio was snickering on the sides, cheering Orlando on, etc.

The bottom line is that Bloom didn’t manage to punch Bieber, but even so, this revealed a lot about how people felt about the Canadian teen heartthrob. People on social media were quick to proclaim themselves #TeamBloom, even those who couldn’t stop mocking him for missing.

This was just another hit that Bieber’s image took; and there were many of them. Last weekend’s Roast and perhaps even his desire to avoid a confrontation with Arquette are proof that he’s eager to distance himself from all this, to start a new chapter.
