Driveclub developer Evolution Studios shares a few more details about the upcoming features for the racing game, such as the Replay mode, not to mention the many add-ons that are set to roll out in the future, from new tour stages to plenty of different cars.

Evolution Studios rolled out Driveclub back in October of last year, and despite a lengthy development cycle, the experience disappointed fans due to its problematic online multiplayer and the servers that were affected by plenty of outages.

The studio rolled out many different updates, while improving the performance of the actual servers, and right now the game offers a pretty enjoyable experience to everyone who owns the full version of the title.

Replay mode is coming soon

Evolution is currently working on plenty of different add-ons and features for the game, and Game Director Paul Rustchynsky confirms via NeoGAF that one of the biggest new mechanics, the replay mode, is nearing completion.

According to the developer, the replays will be quite impressive, and what's more, players will be able to stop them and go into the photo mode in order to capture some impressive screenshots that they missed when they actually raced on the track.

"Replays are looking great and are almost ready, hopefully we'll be able to preview them soon. Yep, it'll be a great way to capture pictures," he said about the photo mode during replays.

Plenty of new tours and cars are coming to Driveclub

Rustchynsky has also taken the chance to confirm that the studio plans on rolling out not one but two new tour DLCs every month until July. What's more, while the game is receiving some free Japanese tracks, he explains that more cars, possibly even Japanese ones, will appear as DLC for Drivelcub.

"Two new tours per month all the way through to July are all part of the season pass! So that's 14 more between now and then, the tour team certainly have got their work cut out for them. All I can say is that we'll continue to bring more cars from new manufacturers over the months ahead," he adds.

Expect to hear more about Driveclub's planned improvements in the near future. Until then, the five free Japanese tracks are now available in the PS4 racing game via patch 1.10.
