Video game developer BioWare has offered fans of the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition plenty of information about the mechanics of the new title and the team is continuing to talk about the Skyhold area, which will be the fortress from which the gamer can control the sprawling effort to save the world from certain destruction.

The studio has previously explained how gamers will be able to customize the location and how they can use the complex war table in order to move around their resources and gain access to more rewards, which can then be used to make their own party more powerful.

Now Cameron Lee, a producer working on Dragon Age: Inquisition, tells the official site that much of the interactions that will take place in Skyhold will be centered on the three core advisers that can be recruited, Leliana, Cullen and Josephine.

Plenty of options for a variety of play styles

The game maker states, “Leliana is the leader of your agents who uncover secrets, assassinate enemies, and sabotage your enemy's organization. Cullen leads your military, so he's focused on building your army and training and equipping your forces so you can use them as a hammer against the Elder One.”

He adds, “Josephine uses political power and diplomacy to advance your Inquisition's cause. Each of the advisors will want to approach challenges in different ways, but it's your choice about which action to take.”

Each of the three will try to catch the ear of the protagonist the gamer controls and persuade him that he needs to take certain paths through the coming challenge and use his limited resources in one way or another.

Lee emphasizes that gamers will have a lot of decisions to make and that each of them will affect the course of the rest of the narrative.

This creates a replayable title that will allow gamers to test out new ideas and approaches, while also mixing and matching abilities and party members.

Going against the darkness

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be out on November 18 and can be played on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and last-gen consoles.

The core story will ask players to eliminate a breach in the Veil, which is allowing the realm of humans to be attacked by the demons of the Fade.

Using a varied cast of characters, the player will have to discover who is behind its creation and then find a clear way to shut it down forever.
