Dragon Age: Inquisition is a game that focuses on the freedom of the players to choose how they want to progress the story, and the development team at BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts are launching a new video which is designed to deliver as much information as possible about the character creation process and the decisions gamers can make about the look of the title’s protagonist.

The system designed for the new title is a very complex one and will offer a wealth of possibilities regardless of the race that gamers choose.

The Qunari are offered for the first time as a choice and they have some unique options, without helmets and with options to tweak the look of their horns and the way they have painted themselves before battle.

More details about the character creation process for Dragon Age: Inquisition were offered in a Twitch-based stream from BioWare, and it seems that gamers will be able to either recreate their own look in the game or choose to put together a fantasy archetype to play as.

Role playing with a party focus

Dragon Age: Inquisition is a role-playing game with a complex story that focuses on the possibilities offered by a party of four characters.

The core story thread will ask gamers to find the cause of a major tear in the Veil which is allowing demons from the Fade to invade the world of the living.

Along the way, the protagonist will also have to deal with the fallout of the three-sided war which pits the Chantry against the Mages and the Templars.

At the same time, they will have the option to pursue a wide range of side missions and can use the strategic map located in the Skyhold to increase the power of their own organization.

BioWare has also shown a new area of the game world that can be explored, situated in the Deep Roads environment where the dwarves once thrived.

The new title will include a classic turn-based combat system that can also be played dynamically by gamers who do not want to spend too much time placing their characters on the battlefield.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be out on November 18 in North America and three days later in Europe and can be played on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 from Sony and last-gen consoles.
