Video game developer BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts are announcing that the first piece of single-player-focused downloadable content for Dragon Age: Inquisition is called Jaws of Hakkon and the first official trailer for it will be launched tomorrow, giving gamers a clear view of the experience they will have access to.

The information comes from the official Twitter account of the game and also shows an image linked to the new content, which unfortunately delivers no details about the DLC in terms of mechanics or story.

The studio has made the official announcement after leaked achievements and screenshots appeared on the Xbox One version of Dragon Age: Inquisition.

It seems that gamers will get to explore an ancient temple located in the Stone-Bear Hold and that Avvar tribes are involved in some way.

The Jaws of Hakkon DLC will include some new secrets about a legendary figure from the world of Dragon Age: Inquisition, and apparently, at least one new dragon will be involved in some way.

The official message from BioWare also states that the content is at the moment set to initially arrive on the Xbox One and the PC, although it's unclear why that will happen.

Dragon Age: Inquisition has long-term plans for more content

When the new BioWare title was launched in November, the company talked about solid long-term plans for the experience, which include DLC for both the single and multiplayer modes.

So far, only Destruction, which is free, has been introduced.

It's unclear how complex or lengthy Jaws of Hakkon for Dragon Age: Inquisition will be and whether there's any content introduced in it which will carry over to the core single-player campaign.

The story of the title has a lot of layers and the ending introduces more questions that it manages to answer.

Dragon Age: Inquisition has been one of the most celebrated titles of last year and BioWare will look to keep it interesting for fans for as long as possible while the company also works on the next title.

The studio also needs to introduce a new Mass Effect title in the coming years.
