14 DAY TRIAL // Driveclub has a brand new patch that's now available for download worldwide, taking the racing experience to version 1.14 and adding quite a lot of great elements, such as the LaFerrari hypercar, multiplayer replays, a new tour, and other improvements, while setting the stage for upcoming premium DLC packs.
Driveclub launched back in October of last year around the world, and while many PS4 owners eagerly awaited the racing experience, it ended up disappointing through the many different multiplayer issues that it exhibited even after a lengthy delay.
Developer Evolution has since released a series of updates to solve the problems, while augmenting the servers and online infrastructure of the racing game.
Update 1.14 for Driveclub is now available for download
Now, a brand new update has just been released by Evolution for Driveclub, taking the game to version 1.14 and adding all sorts of great features.
First and foremost, with the new patch, Driveclub owners are getting a free car, in the form of the Ferrari LaFerrari model. In order to add it to your garage, you need to complete rank 5 of the Ferrari Owners Club driver accolade.
Another free bonus brought forth by the patch is the Startline Tour, which features 11 events complete with 45 objectives. It will be the first available for new owners of Driveclub, and serves at easing them into the many different facets of the racing game on PS4.
A big feature that's part of the patch is the ability to view replays of multiplayer races. The replay feature arrived as part of a previous update, but since more work was needed in terms of multiplayer performance, it didn't work when racing against others online.
Many other improvements are included in this new patch for Driveclub, not to mention support for this month's batch of premium DLC. These will appear next week, on April 28, and include the Turbocharged Expansion Pack, as well as the Evolution Tour Pack. Next week will also see the debut of another free car, the Rimac Automobili Concept_One.
