Sony Computer Entertainment and developer Evolution Studios finally released the 1.12 update for Driveclub, adding replays and a host of other features and improvements.

The patch is now available on the PlayStation Network for everyone to download, weighing in at around 600 MB, bringing the updates to a total size of 7 GB.

Driveclub was released back in October last year, exclusively for the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony, becoming the device's premier racing video game. Although the launch proved to be a little rocky, the dev team has been hard at work, constantly improving the experience and expanding the array of available content with new cars and tracks to compete on.

The latest update's most significant addition is the ability for players to save replays for all Single Events and Tours, at the end of the event.

Photomode can be used at any point in a certain replay, which means that you'll be able to get even better showcase shots out of your gaming sessions.

The update also introduces a brand-new Driver Level 50 reward, the ability to unlock the Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione.

Patch 1.12 also adds a number of fixes and quality of life improvements, including refined Drift Mode scoring, taking into account momentum, control and how well you stick to the track. Drag penalty and reduction when veering off road and after world collisions have been adjusted, in order to make sure that accidentally leaving the track slows you down more gradually, and that colliding with a wall can't possibly translate into an accidental advantage.

The update paves the way for the upcoming Peugeot Onyx Concept, coming to the PlayStation Store as a free download, and for the Lamborghini Expansion Pack, adding the Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario, Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse and Lamborghini Veneno.

Evolution Studios also pledged their continued support for Driveclub, outlining a list of improvements to look out for in future updates, including improved online stability and performance, the release of the PlayStation Plus edition of the title, private lobbies, replays for multiplayer races, and a lot more cars.
