Divinity: Original Sin, the best RPG launched in 2014, according to many reputable online publications, has just receive a major patch that brings lots of improvements to all aspects.

This is the first Divinity: Original Sin update delivered by developer Larian this year. Patch 1.0.251.0 is mostly based on players feedback, which is why it comes with a long list of bug fixes.

However, one of the most important improvements added with this patch would be the cloud saving system, which will allow players to save their game sessions into the cloud.

Apart from enabling Steam Cloud save, Larian has also announced that PC and Mac savegames are now compatible and that modders will now be able to import their own models and animations into the game. In order to do that, a 3DSMax exporter has been included in the patch.

Stats and balancing change have been implemented too

Some stats changes have been implemented as well, you can find them all below:

- Rebalanced Constitution & Damage: from Luculla to Dark Forest, overall, creatures go down faster but deal more damage; - Toned-down Armor: some Armor scores were too high, resulting in unnecessarily long fight; - Rebalanced Initiative: some creatures had too high an Init, others too little. NPC Init scores will now be closer to players' score; - Rebalanced Willpower & Bodybuilding throughout the game; - Rebalanced physical & magical resistances; - Some creatures had high dexterity and were difficult to hit - Pure elementals (fire, water, air, earth) now have proper resistances and immunities; - Magic weapons changed (example: a flaming sword would inflict pure fire damage. Now, it inflicts physical (slashing) damage + a fire boost).

The latest patch 1.0.251.0 for Divinity: Original Sin brings a lot more improvements and bug fixes that you can find below or in the original Steam thread.
