14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer Blizzard is announcing that it has deployed the 2.2.0 patch for Diablo 3 in all the countries that make up the Americas region on the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft, and the PC.
The update is a very big one and introduces a wide array of changes that gamers can see by clicking on the button at the end of this article.
The classes of the game are tweaked in a lot of ways to improve the overall balance, and Blizzard is also making changes to crafting to the Adventure side of Diablo 3.
The official announcement from the studio also states, "Please note that you will not be prompted to download patch 2.2.0 until the patch is live in your home region. If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed."
Global Play for Diablo 3 will also have issues until the new patch is deployed in both Europe and Asia.
Blizzard has not exactly said when the regions will get access to the changes in 2.2.0, but their delivery will take place in about 24 hours.
Diablo 3 will launch Season 3 in a few days
Blizzard has scheduled the delivery of patch 2.2.0 for the game for the period between the end of Season 2 and the start of Season 3, which will take place on April 10.
Gamers will have a few days to try out the tweaks before they have to decide on the type of character they plan to use for the coming period.
The Season mode has become very popular since it was introduced and offers an experience that is very different from that of the core game.
Season 3 will introduce a range of new rewards and is also making gameplay changes designed to improve the overall experience.
Blizzard has said that it wants to continue to upgrade the Diablo 3 gameplay in the long term, but it has not mentioned whether it has plans to introduce an entirely new expansion, with another class and more enemies.
