The development team at Bungie is ready to confirm that the newly introduced Crota's End raid, which is part of The Dark Below expansion, has been beaten in just six hours by a team of players called Invigorate Gaming, which is already known for the fact that it managed to be the first to complete the Vault of Glass raid on the hard difficulty.

The info comes from the official Twitter account of the company and they say that other teams, King Gothalion and Streamer House, might be the next ones to complete the challenge and get the unique new spoils.

Bungie has not laid out any sort of special reward for the group of players who managed to get first through Crota's End for The Dark Below, but the community of players will certainly hail them as heroes.

Crota's End is the most difficult piece of content in Destiny at the moment, and the developers have said that those who want to stand a chance while playing it need to make sure that their characters are leveled up and have access to a range of the new and powerful items that were added in the expansion.

This makes the achievement of those at Invigorate Gaming even more impressive because they have probably been playing the game non-stop since The Dark Below was introduced in order to be able to tackle Crota's End.

Destiny has brought in a range of new content with its first expansion

The Dark Below is designed to add some new environments for gamers to explore and more strikes and raids to take on.

The new level cap is designed to give characters room to grow in power, and a new exotics upgrade systems built around Xur has been introduced in order to make it easier for players to upgrade their items and keep them useful in the long term.

The Dark Below launch also means that some content is now locked for those who are unwilling to pick up the expansion.

Bungie is saying that a second major content drop for Destiny is already in development and might arrive as soon as summer 2015.

At the same time, the developers are looking at feedback coming from the community and plan to introduce more patches in order to keep the social shooter balanced.

Rumors about a Destiny 2 have already appeared and the new title might be launched on all platforms in late 2016.

Destiny has received a full review from Softpedia earlier in the year.
