Video game developer Bungie announces that this week's installment of the Bungie Bounty event for Destiny will be focused on the WRECKnation group of players, with all interested gamers able to test their skills in battle in order to try and acquire a special emblem.

The actual battle will be taking place on the PlayStation 4 and using the Control mode, with fans able to log into the title between 6 and 8 PM Pacific Time on Tuesday, March 10.

The combatants that will be hunted down by Destiny players will include two recruits from Bungie: Nine-Box and thirteenyahs, who have tested Crucible mechanics, and members of the player clan, tripleWRECK, LLvendetta, LikeButta and Nes_GT.

As usual, those who are not interested in taking part in the Bungie Bounty event will be able to see all the action on Twitch, from the perspective of those who are hunted for an emblem.

Destiny needs both events and new content in the future

The Bungie Bounty and the Ride Along have established themselves as the events that the development team has managed to make exciting enough to draw the attention of the player community, and there have been statements that more such activities might be tested soon.

Bungie is also saying that at least another major update for the social shooter is at the moment in testing and will be launched before House of Wolves is deployed, although so far the company has not said exactly what it will aim to address in terms of game mechanics.

Gamers should probably expect to see it going live towards the middle or the end of April.

Bungie has confirmed that House of Wolves, the new expansion, will be out during the second financial quarter of this year.

Leaks and rumors are saying that gamers will be able to get access to a new high level raid, equivalent in terms of content to Crota's End, more strikes and an array of new weapons and items.

There are also plans to increase the level cap for all Guardians and Bungie will probably try to also find new ways of pushing the community to cooperate more, like it did when it made all strikes subject to matchmaking.
