Destiny received its biggest update yet yesterday, April 14, in the form of patch 1.1.2 that added lots of enhancements. However, eager Destiny fans have managed to data mine the files of the patch and have uncovered plenty of content that will go live when the House of Wolves expansion launches on May 19.

Destiny launched back in September of last year across the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms worldwide. While the multiplayer-only first-person shooter experience was eagerly awaited by millions of fans, many felt disappointed with the overall online experience.

Fortunately, developer Bungie has rolled out a variety of major updates since then, and the latest big patch went live yesterday, taking the game to version 1.1.2 across all consoles.

The update included plenty of improvements to the game and without a doubt set the stage for the upcoming House of Wolves expansion, which debuts on May 19, although Bungie wasn't eager to share this exact fact.

However, eager fans on Reddit have managed to data mine the files of the new Destiny update and have uncovered a huge amount of content that's going to be available once the expansion launches.

First up, there is not one but two social spaces, in the form of Queen's Bay that's located in the Reef area, and Halls of Amentet, where only players who've gone through the Trials of Osiris can enter.

There are a new Strike called Shadow Thief that takes place on the Moon, three story missions that begin on Earth and end up on Venus, as well as three quests. One new Raid called Prison of the Elders is also mentioned, alongside three maps for the Crucible competitive multiplayer. Speaking of that mode, three new mode variations are referenced, alongside modified bounties. A whopping 46 ship schematics are also present in the patch, including an Exotic one.

Bungie hasn't discussed these data mined details about its latest update, and it's unlikely to see that happen until we get closer to the launch of House of Wolves for Destiny next month.
