Bungie isn't doing enough to satisfy fans, apparently

Players who still enjoy Destiny, the new first-person shooter from Bungie, are outraged over the lack of actual fresh content in the first expansion, The Dark Below, as well as over the fact that the gear from the next DLC, House of Wolves, has leaked inside the game, despite the add-on coming in March.

Destiny launched back in September and millions of first-person shooter fans were really looking forward to the experience ahead of its actual release, as the beta stages, coupled with the huge amount of hype and the pedigree of developer Bungie, made the title one of the most important ones of the year.

The actual result, however, wasn't so impressive, as plenty of fans were upset with the lackluster story and the repetitive gameplay, which failed to get them motivated to keep exploring the shooter.

The new expansion didn't please players

Now that the first major expansion, The Dark Below, has launched, quite a few remaining players are even more upset with Bungie as there isn't a lot of content in the premium add-on.

Quite a few complaints were rounded up on NeoGAF, referencing the new areas from The Dark Below which were already in the game, only instead of ending in rooms with enemies, they just had blank walls.

"I noticed playing through the story missions every single 'new area' was a path that was already in the game. In fact there were multiple strange dead ends in the base game that would be long tunnels that would just end with a blank wall," one player says.

"In The Dark Below's story mission you take these exact same paths however instead of a wall at the end now there is 1 new room with usually a boss fight. Some of these area's players had even glitched into before prior to The Dark Below's release."

The leaked House of Wolves gear have also upset fans

Fans are also upset with the next premium expansion, House of Wolves, which already saw its gear leak earlier this week. According to fans, this is inexcusable, as the add-on is set to launch in March. As such, seeing that items are already finished, it's unclear just why Bungie is waiting to debut the new add-on.

What's more, they also insist that the new zone coming in House of Wolves was already portrayed in a video launched back in 2013 as a fully playable zone.

As of yet, Bungie hasn't commented on these new accusations from fans, and it's unlikely that the studio will talk about its DLC strategy.
