The team is also explaining how Crota's End Hard mode works

The development team at Bungie is announcing that it is aware of a newly seen problem which is not allowing Exotic rifles that are dismantled to be taken into account when charting the depleted Exotic weapon core for the Pocket Infinity bounty.

The issue seems to affect all players who are working towards it and the company is looking into the reason for the bug and how it can be fixed.

The official help section of the title’s site explains, “In the meantime, please ensure that you only dismantle Rare and Legendary rifles to complete this step of the Pocket Infinity bounty while we investigate.”

Presumably, all those who have used Exotic rifles until now will be compensated in some way when the Pocket Infinity bounty problem in Destiny is eliminated by the development team.

At the same time the studio is reminding all gamers that some stats associated with their Guardians are reset every week when new activities are introduced.

The Crota’s End newly introduced Hard mode is also posing problems to some gamers who are trying to access it and get the new rewards even if they have not yet completed the major raid on the normal difficulty.

Destiny has at least two expansions planned for this year

As it is trying to make the destiny experience as pleasant as possible for the community, Bungie is also focused on the long-term evolution of the social shooter.

The next expansion is called House of Wolves and a leak says that it will be introduced as soon as March, allowing gamers on all platforms to get access to one major end game raid that has not yet been named and other content that’s equivalent in size to what The Dark Below delivered in December.

Bungie says that it has learned a lot from how the content was received by the community and will try to avoid making any balance mistakes.

Destiny is also set to get access to a much bigger expansion in the summer of this year, designed to introduce entire new environments for gamers to explore and set to change some of the core mechanics in ways that are based on feedback coming from the community.
