At the moment, only a reboot can help players

Video game developer Bungie is announcing that it is currently working on a solution to a problem that has recently appeared in the PlayStation 4 version of Destiny, which sees gamers who are trying to join a Fireteam being dropped to the official page in the PlayStation Store.

The company explains that the problem has been introduced after the home console received its new 2.50 firmware update and that it is only happening when gamers are trying to join others from the PlayStation Party screen.

Apparently, a reboot of the PlayStation 4 should solve the problem when it appears, and the development team is trying to find a full solution.

Bungie is not saying whether it will deploy a hotfix in order to eliminate the Fireteam problem on the PS4 or whether it will make the solution part of the coming update 1.1.2, which should be out before the end of the month.

Gamers who are playing Destiny on the Sony platform should also be aware that the game supports the custom button assignments introduced for the PlayStation 4, but there are no plans to change the in-game prompts or the tooltips for them.

Previously, Bungie also explained that the new Suspend/Resume feature of the hardware could not be used with the social shooter for the time being, although support is coming in update 1.1.2.

A range of changes is being prepared for raids and strikes.

The most recent Weekly Update explains that the developers are aware of the various problems that gamers are having when running the two major end-game raids, and there are plans to deliver a range of fixes in the coming patch.

Strikes will also get some attention from Bungie.

Update 1.1.2 will also introduce changes to the Vault and a new colorblind mode, and other accessibility options are planned as well.

Destiny is also getting a second expansion during the second financial quarter of this year, called House of Wolves.

The amount of new content will be about the same as that introduced by The Dark Below, with one big raid that will test fans and at least two new engaging strikes.

The level cap for all Guardians is also going up, and there are both new weapons and items for gamers to customize their character with.
