The professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene has been rocked by the fact that two quite successful players, KQLY and Sf, playing for French Teams Titan and Epsilon, respectively, have been banned by Valve's own Anti-Cheat (VAC) system.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is currently one of the most popular competitive eSports out there, improving in terms of popularity in just a few short years. Valve, the developer of the game, hasn't ignored this fact and started last year funding professional tournaments every few months, in addition to the competitions already hosted by independent organizers.

However, it seems that the constant problem of the CS:GO scene, cheating and using hacks to gain an advantage, has also reached the professional scene.

Over the last few hours, two respected professional players from France have been banned by Valve's Anti-Cheat system, namely KQLY, who recently played for large organization Titan, and Sf, who recently joined the ranks of Epsilon.

The two players haven't commented on Valve's decision, but it seems that both teams have already been kicked out of the next CS:GO major competition, Dreamhack Winter, as the organizers have revealed on their website that new qualifier competitions will be held so that new teams take their spots.

As of yet, Valve hasn't released any statement concerning its decision to ban the professional players.
