It uses SECC steel and plastic instead of aluminum

Mid-tower cases should be reasonably easy to move around, especially empty. Not portable but not hard to carry from one place to another. This is owed to the aluminum the frames are made of. Unfortunately, Cooltek's new case is an exception.

Granted, the GT-03 chassis is not the first one that uses SECC steel instead of aluminum, and 5.2 kilos / 11.4 pounds isn't exactly back-breaking, but it still is a bit heavy for this type of case.

Also, while 152 mm / 5.98 inches is a nice enough height for CPU coolers, it's not the biggest we've ever heard of. Then again, this is just a mid-tower, not a full tower, so it's pretty good.

On that note, the maximum graphics card length is 300 mm / 11.81 inches, which means that most video cards are supported.

Storage-wise, we're looking at three 2.5-inch drive bays, four 3.5-inch bays, plus a pair of USB 3.0 ports on the front, as well as a pair of USB 2.0./1.1 ports. A SATA drive dock is available as well, if you want to access a normal HDD/SSD without opening up the whole system.

Other features include a bunch of 120 mm fans, standard HD audio jacks, and an exposed 3.5-inch bay with a clip-lock protrusion of the door.

Everything fits in a package measuring 510 x 200 x 460 mm / 20.07 x 7.87 x 18.11 inches. The price of the Cooltek GT-03 is €45 / $57.
