Who would have thought? If her music were ever to stop selling, Christina Aguilera could always turn to comedy and doing impressions for a career. The diva was on Seth Meyers’ Late Night Show to promote her most recent stint on The Voice and her upcoming album, and wowed audiences once more with a spot-on impression.

Earlier this week, on Jimmy Fallon, she took part in the inaugural edition of the Wheel of Musical Impressions and delivered flawless impressions of Cher, Britney Spears and Shakira. As it turns out, she can do people outside of pop music, from the world of movies.

Christina and Meyers met on the set of Saturday Night Live years ago, when she took part in a skit on “SATC,” together with Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph and Rachel Dratch. Aguilera was Samantha Jones, played on the hit HBO series (which later spawned 2 feature films) by Kim Cattrall.

She revisited that character on Meyers’ show, proving that she still had it after all these years. The only thing that could have been better with this interview is if she’d stayed in character for a bit longer.

After the spot-on impersonation, Christina talked about her acting career and working with Blake Shelton, professed her love for his wife, Miranda Lambert, and of course, the newest season of The Voice, now airing on NBC.

Below is Aguilera’s original SNL skit, enjoy!
