We have been telling you all about the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge for the past few months in anticipation of the big MWC 2015 event in Barcelona.

It has been a while since a Samsung flagship got that many people excited, so we’re extremely curious to see if the Galaxy S6 will live up to everyone expectations.

It should, since the handset will finally adopt a metal frame, something that Samsung fans have been asking of their favorite company since forever.

On top of that, Samsung is using a more accurate fingerprint-based scanner on the device and has been trimming its own TouchWiz interface to make it more light and user-friendly.

Well, as we previously told you, US carrier T-Mobile already teased an image showcasing Samsung’s upcoming wonder boy.

Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are receiving initial positive feedback

Now a recent report coming out of the Korean Herald claims that the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have already reached several carriers including the aforementioned T-Mobile, Sprint, Vodafone and SK Telecom.

Their verdict after getting some quality one-on-one time with the devices? They absolutely adore the duo, especially the Galaxy S6 Edge, which will apparently surpass even the iPhone 6 in terms of design.

According to the report, some high-placed executives claimed the new phones are among the best ever made by Samsung. It does sound quite intriguing.

This doesn't necessarily mean the handset will end up selling like hotcakes. For a phone to be successful, a number of factors must be taken into the equation, like functionality and component quality.

With the Galaxy S6, Samsung is hoping to wipe out the failure that was the Galaxy S5 and return to the days of glory the Galaxy S4 saw when it was launched back in 2013.

Sources familiar with the matter are expecting the Galaxy S6 to at least manage to outsell the Galaxy S5. As for its “edgier” cousin, expectations are quite mixed. The current Galaxy Note Edge hasn't achieved great success mainly because its curved screen has questionable practicality.

Yes, the Galaxy S6 Edge will probably be a great-looking device, but is that enough to make customers want it? Probably not, especially since the handset will also be pretty expensive.
