14 DAY TRIAL // Two of the world’s most famous models, Naomi Campbell and Cara Delevingne, are now in Paris along with a who’s who in fashion and showbiz, for Paris Fashion Week. Rihanna too is there, and a new report suggests she was the cause the two models got into a very nasty catfight.
It went down at a party held at Castel Club in Paris, and was witnessed by all the other guests, who were just as confused as Cara was to see Naomi fly off the handle like that, Page Six reports. However, Cara didn’t hesitate and fought back, and may have even tried to snatch Naomi’s weave.
Lots of pushing, even more screaming
The tab has several accounts from eyewitnesses, who swear that the altercation happened. Some of them disagree on what started it, but they all say that Rihanna’s name was thrown around quite a bit.
The first theory is that Cara said something disrespectful about the Barbadian beauty, which Naomi overheard and immediately called her out on it.
“Naomi accused Cara of ‘disrespecting’ Rihanna and started yelling, before Naomi pushed Cara, who pushed back,” says a spy. “Cara pulled Naomi’s weave, but it didn’t come off.”
The other theory is that Naomi only thought Cara had said something negative about Rihanna, and attacked her without as much as telling her what had prompted her outburst.
Another version of the events is that Cara did nothing wrong and Naomi just flew into one of her rants. Next thing the younger model knew, Naomi was coming for her and all she could do was defend herself while yelling “Get away from me!” Apparently, Cara and Rihanna are actually good friends and she would never say anything bad about her, whether in public or in private.
Nothing happened, don’t believe the hype
Despite the fact that Page Six claims to have confirmation of the altercation from various sources at the party, Naomi insists nothing of the kind happened.
You will find her tweet on the topic embedded below; Cara is yet to address the rumor in any way, but she retweeted Naomi’s message, which probably means she will be using it as her statement as well.
As far as the media knows, Cara and Naomi have no “beef,” just like Naomi has no kind of relationship with Rihanna. Cara, on the other hand, hangs out in about the same circles as Rihanna, so it could be that they’re friends.
The report comes days after Naomi went after an NBC cameraman in Cuba (video below), hitting his camera and knocking it to the ground, because he wouldn’t stop shooting her as she was leaving her hotel. She has a history of violent outbursts of this kind, and not just towards paparazzi or random cameramen.
