It's only been a day since one of the long-awaited mobile games, Minecraft hit Windows Phone platform, and now another title has been released in Windows Phone Store.

Many Windows Phone users have been waiting for King's Candy Crush Saga for quite a long time, but the wait is now over as the game is available for download via Microsoft's Windows Phone Store.

Keep in mind, though, that the game has just been released and it might take a few hours to show up in the Store in all countries. The good news is the game is free and supports smartphones equipped with only 512MB of RAM.

The not so good news is Candy Crush Saga will only run on devices powered by Windows Phone 8.1, so if you haven't upgraded yet, then you won't be able to play it.

Although Candy Crush Saga is available for free, keep in mind that it comes with in-app purchases, which you can easily control by enabling Wallet PIN in the Windows Phone settings.

We're not sure how many levels will be available to Windows Phone players, but if this version offers the same amount of content as the Android and iOS iterations, then expect to be able to play through more than 450 levels.

Once you pass level 50, you will unlock Dreamworld, which is a special level where you will meet an owl named Odus that will help you through the levels.

Every two weeks, new levels will be added to the game for free

Another useful feature that Windows Phone players will be able to take advantage of is the ability to sync Candy Crush Saga between devices. This way you will be able to continue to play from where you left.

In addition, by syncing the game between devices players will benefit from various features, like extra lives and many others.

Even though Candy Crush Saga arrived on Windows Phone with hundreds of levels that should keep players busy for a few months, developers confirmed that every two weeks they would add more levels to the game.

Obviously, these content updates will be released on all three major platforms: Android, iOS and Windows Phone. As always, we recommend our readers to take everything with moderation, so don't try to run through all Candy Crush Saga's 450+ levels in just a few days. It's not fun.

You can now download Candy Crush Saga for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The game has been confirmed on devices equipped with at least 512MB of RAM, running Windows Phone 8.1 and up.
