SuperData is a research and analytics firm which is also working for video game clients, and its most recent report seems to suggest that this year gamers will be able to get access to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and a new Resident Evil title in the fall, although neither of the two has been officially announced yet.

The company states, "We anticipate this month’s downturn to level off during the coming few months, following a regular seasonal pattern but expect to see an upswing as the next editions of several major franchises like Halo and Resident Evil come out in the 2015 fall season."

The report also talks about Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 as an important title for Activision, mainly because it needs to match the performance delivered so far by Advanced Warfare.

The two titles have not yet been confirmed by their publishers, but official announcements might be coming in the next few weeks, with more information about the story and the mechanics set to be introduced during the E3 2015 event in June.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is almost confirmed by Treyarch

The development team has posted a message on Twitter which pretty much confirmed that it was working on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 by saying that the name of the experience features a B and an O.

Previous information also suggests that it will feature an extensive new zombie mode.

The Black Ops setting will allow Treyarch to deliver a game experience which mixes present day and future moments and means that the multiplayer mode includes the futuristic elements that have made Advanced Warfare loved by fans.

Until a new Call of Duty is revealed, Sledgehammer Games is aiming to introduce 2 new DLC packs for the currently available title.

Resident Evil 7 is a possibility for Capcom

Resident Evil has just received a second title in the Revelations continuity, which probably means that the new title coming in the fall should be a core one for the franchise.

Resident Evil 7 will need to introduce a complex story and solid mechanics in order to make sure that the series emerges from its recent slump.

Capcom has not yet offered any details on the future of the undead-fighting franchise.
