The team wants the game to be the same on all platforms

One of the biggest pieces of news to emerge from the Sony E3 2015 press conference is the fact that downloadable content packs for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will now be a timed exclusive for both the PlayStation 4 and the PS3, with fans of the Sony platforms able to get them about one month before the rest of the community.

But it seems that the announcement does not have any impact on the work that developer Treyarch is actually putting in so that it can deliver the full shooter and the DLC that is planned for it.

Dan Bunting, who leads the creation of the multiplayer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, tells MCV, "From a development perspective, it really doesn’t make a difference. We make games for our fans, and it doesn’t matter what platform they are on, we will make the best experience we can. The fans have to have faith for us that we will deliver on all platforms."

The studio still needs to have the DLC ready on a date for the leading platform, which is now the PlayStation 4, but they also need to make sure that the game is not different in any way on the Xbox One or on the PC.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will deliver a new take on multiplayer and single-player

The E3 2015 multiplayer reveal for the shooter shows a much more dynamic experience, with gamers able to move fast across the battlefield even as each character uses unique powers and weapons to take out his enemies.

Treyarch has not yet talked about all the modes and the maps that will be included in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

The title will also feature a full four-player cooperative take on the single-player campaign.

The development team says that it wants Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 to be an entirely new take on the essence of the franchise, with innovation focused on the 2065 setting and the way robotics and genetic augmentation have improved the performance of soldiers.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be launched on November 6 on all platforms.
