Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare continues to be one of the most played first-person shooters on the market at the moment, and the leader of the team that created it at Sledgehammer Gamers is ready to reveal that the ARX-160 is the weapon used by those who are generating the best kill-death ratios on the battlefield.

Michael Condrey has revealed the top ten on his official Twitter account and is inviting all interested fans to take this information into account next time they choose the load-out for their characters and jump into a match.

The list also includes the Ameli, HBRA3, Bal-27 and Pytaek.

Lately, the leader of Sledgehammer Games has been very interested in the weapons used and he has also shown gamers a teaser for another piece of hardware that will be added to the shooter in the future, although he offered no information about it.

The fact that the team is exploring the weapons that deliver the best kill-death ratio might also mean that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare might soon get another big balance update designed to tweak their power and change the above cited statistics.

The actual weapon is important in the shooter, but the skill of the player and their chosen game mode also have an impact on their performance.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is getting ready for Ascendance

At the moment, the focus of Sledgehammer Games is on the coming Ascendance downloadable content pack, which is set to be introduced on March 31 on the Xbox One and the Xbox 350.

Gamers will be able to get the same DLC on the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the PS3 about one month later.

The Ascendance package will introduce four new maps for multiplayer, a new Infection story chapter for the Exo Zombies mode, and a new grapple playlist that will allow for some single-player mechanics to be used.

There are two other DLC packs that will be introduced for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Treyarch has already stated that it is working on a new installment in the series, which will be launched during the fall of this year.
