Gamers need to deliver their best Havoc moments

The development team at Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision are announcing that they are launching a new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare initiative, the Point & Shoot Film Festival, which is designed to allow all interested players to share their most interesting gameplay moments they have experienced in the Havoc downloadable content and try to win some prizes in the process.

The official site of the game offers more information about the rules of the competition and allows fans to take a look at other submissions and see which are the clips that KillCameraman Randall Higgins has chosen to highlight.

Leaderboards are also included and all submitted content can be cataloged by mode or maps.

The official announcement states, "All you have to do is record your epic Advanced Warfare moment through your next-gen console’s built-in software or your preferred capture solution, then upload your submission to YouTube, and share the link. Feel free to get creative with your videos."

Participants need to be over 18 and they absolutely need to use the Havoc DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

The new DLC, which introduces four new maps for games to explore, more weapons and the undead-powered Exo Zombies mode, is set to be offered on February 24 on the PlayStation 4, the PS3 and the PC and is already available on the Xbox One and the 360.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will get another three content drops

The movie festival is a relatively innovative initiative for a shooter and it's unclear whether the focus on the Havoc content is a sign that the DLC has been selling well or that it is underperforming and Activision is aiming to boost it however it can.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be getting three other DLC packs, with the next one probably coming in late March on the Xbox One and the 360 and about one full month later on other platforms.

Sledgehammer Games has also said that it is listening to customer feedback and it will make modifications to the title based on the ideas coming from the community.

Treyarch is already working on the Call of Duty title which will be launched this year, but it has offered no details on the experience, which will apparently be focused on undead enemies more than other titles in the franchise.
