Video game developer Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision are ready to deliver a bigger trailer and more details about the first downloadable content pack that will be launched for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare under the name Havoc.

As expected, the companies are making it clear that gamers will be able to play the new content on the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 on January 27, and those who own the shooter on other platforms will have to wait about one month to get access to it.

The four new included maps that will become part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer once Havoc arrives are called Core, Urban, Sideshow and Drift.

Core is taking gamers to the Gobi desert, to the ruins of a fusion plant that features both long range and short range engagement possibilities and includes a scorestreak that calls in decontamination drones to take out enemies.

On Urban, gamers will have to prepare for combat in Dallas Ward 3, a massive structure where close quarters combat is a must, with plenty of vertical areas that allow gamers to use their exo-skeleton.

Sideshow is more rural and features some creepy moments as players get to choose how to engage enemies, and the scorestreak here allows players to launch rainbow smoke cannonballs and activate clown-based entertainment.

Finally, Drift for Havoc in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set in a resort in the Rocky Mountains where avalanches can disrupt the flow of combat.

This is just the first DLC pack for the shooter

Michael Condrey, the leader of the team working on Havoc, says that the DLC is very exciting, and Glen Schofield, the studio head at Sledgehammer Games, adds, "The entire team at Sledgehammer Games is really excited about the release of the Havoc and we are ready to kick-off a long DLC season filled with new maps, the new Exo Zombies mode and more."

The Exo Zombies mode is also being introduced and allows gamers to get through waves of undead enemies, with the voices of the characters provided by John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal.

More episodes for the new coop experience will be offered in future DLC packs that will be launched for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
