Gamers can now play it on PlayStation 4 and PS3

Video game developer Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision are announcing that they are now delaying the PC version of the Havoc downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare because of an unexpected issue that was found just before the DLC was supposed to be offered to players.

The official announcement from the company claims that "We don't take this decision lightly, but rest assured that our team is working with Activision to get this content to the PC community as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we’re turning on ‪#‎DoubleXP for all PC players to enjoy."

No information is offered on the actual problem affecting Havoc on the PC and how it would impact the overall Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare experience.

The new content pack is at the moment live on the PlayStation 4 and the PS3, where gamers can experience the four new maps for the multiplayer modes, the innovative weaponry, and engage with the entirely new Exo Zombies mode.

The same DLC has been offered for those who have an Xbox One or an Xbox 360 for about a full month.

The PC community is not too happy with the new delay and players do not seem to consider the double experience an appropriate compensation for it.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will have another three big DLC packs

The problem with the delay is that, by the time Havoc is out, some gamers might no longer be interested in the maps it has to offer and might already focus their attention on the new piece of DLC for the shooter.

Given the fact that three new packages are supposed to be launched, Sledgehammer Games and Activision will probably soon reveal the next installment, which might arrive on the Xbox One and the 360 as soon as late March, with new maps, a new Exo Zombies episode and more.

The new title in the Call of Duty series is being created by Treyarch and will be delivered at some point in the fall of this year.

No details have been delivered by Activision about it so far, but expect to hear more teasers in late spring and a full reveal by the time the E3 2015 event takes place in June.
