It seems that despite the successful launch of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the development team at Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision are aiming to launch a new major promotion for the first-person shooter which will allow gamers to both pick up the title with a major reduction in price and get more experience than normal.

Reddit users are reporting that they have received an e-mail which explains that, starting today, gamers can get the title with a 20 dollar cut (15 Euro, although the promotion does not seem ready for European markets).

Participating locations include GameStop, Walmart, Best Buy, and Future Shop.

All those who pick up the promotional version of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will also get 5 supply drops as soon as they start up the title and 10 hours of double experience gain after the first match is started.

It seems that the very solid promotion is set to run until December 31, which pretty much guarantees that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will become one of the best sellers of the coming period.

Activision and Sledgehammer Games also seem to be getting ready to reveal a double experience weekend period, which will run from later today until November 30 on all platforms on which the shooter is offered.

Neither of the two companies have offered any reaction to the leaked e-mails, which is probably a good sign for the community.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is ready for its first DLC pack

Recently, Activision has revealed that its flagship title has managed to become the biggest entertainment launch of the year, outselling in terms of value all movies and albums delivered in 2014.

At the same time, the company is getting ready to offer all those who got a Season Pass access to a new exclusive AE4 energy rifle on December 9, with a unique version for the Xbox One.

A Nigerian Command is offered to all those who log into a match before the end of the month.

Sledgehammer Games also made official the fact that the Exo Zombies mode, which couples the new exo-skeleton movement and customization with undead enemies, will be included in the Havoc downloadable content pack which will be offered in early 2015.

The DLC is also set to introduce more maps for multiplayer, and gamers will be able to first explore the new content on the Xbox One before it is introduced on all other platforms.
