Video game developer Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision are ready to deliver an entirely new trailer for the Exo Zombies chapter that will be part of the new Ascendance downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which will be launched on March 31.

After the Atlas research facility incident has forced four unlikely heroes to band together in order to try and survive the onslaught of undead, the group now needs to stay safe and defend a Burgertown and its surroundings as they wait for more help to come their way.

Once again, players will be able to take control of the characters that are based on the likenesses of Hollywood actors John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal.

The Burgertown battles that are part of the Infection episode will offer them new tools to fight the zombies and new allies to rely on, but there are also enemies that use more tricks to break their cooperation and a new mini-boss that uses a riot shield and hammer and requires team work to be taken out.

This is the second episode of the Exo Zombies mode and there are two more chapters set to be included in future DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is also getting four new multiplayer maps

Exo Zombies has become an important part of the shooter from Sledgehammer Games and Activision, but most players are still focused on the versus experience.

They are getting four new maps that are suited for different modes and tactical choices, and there are also more weapons to use, which are already in the hands of those who have bought the Season Pass for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Ascendance is set to be introduced first on the Xbox One and the Xbox 360, on March 31, and those who are playing the title on the PlayStation 4, the PS3 or the PC will have to wait about four weeks to get it.

At the moment, the team at Treyarch is working on a new entry in the Call of Duty franchise, which will be introduced in the fall of this year and will probably use the Black Ops 3 name, although no details about its story have been offered so far.
